Hi! I'm Lina 👋.

I'm a product designer working across AI and fintech — helping people navigate complex products through clear, trustworthy design. Recently at Beryl, PokeBot, and Idensia, while finishing my degree at NYU and a UI/UX certificate at Stanford.

BerylEdu — Browse by Learning Path

The Beryl Consulting Group

UI/UX Design Intern · Jul – Aug 2026

Built the UX foundation for BerylEdu, a financial-education module inside BerylElitesX — the membership platform of a New York investment firm with 20+ years in hedge-fund and private-equity advisory. I established the brand identity and a design system of 40+ reusable components, tokens, and documentation, then partnered with the Tech Lead and engineering to design 8+ responsive screens and end-to-end learning flows that make complex financial concepts easier to navigate.

PokeBot — gamified career journey and growth plan

PokeBot.ai — AI career platform

Product Design & GTM Intern · Jun – Jul 2026

Drove product design at PokeBot, a consumer AI career platform preparing SWE, AI/ML, quant, and finance candidates, across onboarding, monetization, and gamified learning. I led the landing-page redesign to sharpen the value proposition and reduce decision friction, ran usability testing to improve onboarding and premium flows, and reworked the progress dashboards, learning paths, and recommendations to boost repeat practice.

Idensia — Brand Passport poster and access controls

Idensia — Brand Passport platform

Product Design Intern · Jun – Jul 2026

Led product design at Idensia, a B2B AI platform that matches emerging NYC brands with landlords, investors, media partners, and compatible brands. I owned the landing-page experience across eight modules, co-designed the Brand Passport that turns fragmented business information into AI-ready profiles powering the Match Engine, and revamped merchant onboarding — using the first 28 brand profiles to refine required fields and validate recommendations.

AI Mentor Hub — career-path exploration

AI Mentor Hub — Stanford Capstone

UI/UX Design for AI Products · Aug – Oct 2025

My Stanford capstone — an AI-powered career-planning tool built for GoValley that turns resume insights into personalized role matches and learning paths. I took it from user flows and wireframes to a high-fidelity prototype, designing for AI trust and explainability with confidence indicators and editable, inspectable recommendations.

The Uncommons — ethnographic research site

The Uncommons — Ethnographic research

Researcher, NYU MCC Media Lab · Mar – May 2025

An ethnographic study of The Uncommons, Manhattan's first board-game café, near NYU. I ran immersive observation and interviews with staff and patrons, then turned the findings into personas, journey maps, and service-design recommendations exploring how the space fosters community and belonging in a shifting urban landscape.

A little about me.

My work keeps circling the same question: how do you make a complex system feel honest — something a person can question, edit, and rely on? I'm happiest where AI or finance meets a real human decision — a first onboarding, a recommendation, a moment of doubt.

I move between user research, interaction design, and design systems. I prototype to learn fast, test to find the truth, and design the explanations that turn a black box into a tool people trust. My background spans AI, fintech, EdTech, and B2B SaaS, plus a creator's eye for storytelling from running food-and-travel content on REDnote and Instagram.

Outside of design, I'm usually chasing good food around New York and writing about it. I care about measurable impact — for the person on the screen and the business behind it.
